ONE YEAR AGO(great read today): Met the new owners at one of my favorite places on the planet @themodernrose I had a little stress on my heart and just wanted to practice some self-care. Comfort food is always the way to go for me. Since I’m trying to not go completely crazy with food, this was perfect. A rainy day, a little sweet bread and some hot tea with lavender... Ahhhhhhhhhhh...🥰🌱🍃🌾☕️ I had my Goddess cards with me today too and my rose quartz worry stone. This girl’s always prepared. I gave the intention that I was pulling this card for anyone who might need it. ARTEMIS - She is my very favorite of all the goddesses, and the one I identify with the closest. She’s a warrior. She is a huntress and a protector of the small and vulnerable. She is a midwife in many ways. Not only does she help bring forth the life of infants, but her strength can be called upon for any type of birthing of new ideas and rebirthing one’s life. Therefore she is a great support when reinventing yourself. She will always stand up for those who cannot, and she will protect anyone who needs her protection. Artemis is the twin sister of Apollo - he is medical and she is herbal. He is practical she is instinctive. Perhaps if you’ve been doing things in conventional, linear ways and they’re not working for you, it could be time to try something a little less linear. Artemis is the daughter of Zeus who granted her permission to never have to marry so that she could run wild and free to take care of those who she happens upon. A reminder that we need to break those chains that hold us back. Sometimes they are invisible and we don’t even know we have them until they’re broken. Freedom is something that we may not even realize we don’t have until we start saying yes to adventures. Call upon her when you feel you need her strength. Emulate her when others need your strength. Choose a card. Choose a stone. Rose quartz is one of my favorite go-to stones when I need calming and grounding. What is your go to crystal?
