doesn't soldier's peak contradict the idea that the wardens don't have any holdings though? the codex on soldier's peak says it was built a couple of decades post the 2nd blight from generous donations, but eventually the nobles are going to stop donating, especially if there are centuries btwn blights. i don't know if the holding encompasses enough land to support a full complement of wardens but if not, how did they manage in the heyday of the fereldan wardens?
I’m pretty sure they can own buildings but not land? If we ignore Awakening, because Awakening makes no sense re “wardens don’t politics”
