Dude, I was rereading the third book of “The Moth and The Bear” (by @keydekyie @themothandthebear) and came across the cutest scene and I HAD to draw it:
“Ruyak glanced up and noticed them standing there, but it was obvious from the uncertain look in his eye that he didn't recognize Kaelin at the distance. Of course he wouldn't; she was downwind, wearing borrowed clothes and missing her trademark red headscarf. She would need to help him.
Kaelin waved one hand and called out, "Hullo, beasty!"
“Ruyak's ears flicked up, and his face broke into an ecstatic grin so bright it put the sun to shame.
“Lera squeaked and dove out of the way
“a second before Ruyak came barreling towards them. Kaelin staggered back a step, and the gigantic creature skidded to a stop on his belly, arms on either side of Kaelin and face directly above” (108).
He missed her so much 😭
