"You must be mad, coming here like this."

This wasn't Gotham, it wasn't her place of business nor was it the warehouses she used while she was in the city. This was her sanctuary, a place she'd found away from her mountainous compound where she trained those who worked for her growing League. It was out in the middle of the desert, a place she'd grown to love growing up and a place she could escape for a while. Her company was doing well and Talia figured some time away would do her some good. Never did she expect to find Diana standing there in a place she'd thought no one knew about. It had her wondering how she found it and what it was she was doing there.

“Oh! Hey there, who might you be?” Peter asked curiously, having landed from his webbing. “What can I do for you?” He also asked.

“Wonder Woman, huh?”  A slight little sniff, and his hands stuff into his pockets.  Though, he was from a different universe, to his surprise thus far most things had been so painfully similar.  Finding such minor differences wasn’t a surprise entirely, and seeing new and different heroes was old hat too.  Hulk was different, Hawkeye was different-- World was more foreign now than the one he’d whet his claws in previously.  “Never heard of ya.”

       “ mm- y’know, ” the speedster starts, shoving food in his mouth as fast as he could. usually he was more.. reserved when he was in the watchtower, but it was just him and diana and she had seen him grow up, so he didn’t care much. “ when we were kids, dick and i used to bet each other who would get wonder woman to go out with us. ” he started to chuckle, wiping his lips with his sleeve. “ now that i think about it, a lot of the teen titans years were filled with weird bets about who was gonna marry who when we grew up. ”
