#writing#writing problems#yeah i started this book in what#2013#i wrote it as a short shory for my creative writing class#after i scrapped the rom-com story i had attempted#and miserably failed at lmao#i did not know how to write romance#ironic no#my teacher wrote that it sounded like a novel lmao#which it wasn't supposed to be#after that#i wrote 150 pages#then trashed that draft#rewrote it#then second draft was 190 in college#trashed it in 2018 and started over#now this draft has been about 2 years in the making#and i'm further than i've ever been before#like 270-300 pages#but it also means a lot of details i just don't remember anymore lmao#i need to actually sit down write down aurora's entire backstory#and mystogan's for that matter#but that will be a book 2 problem
