Trauma!
Bagi: Her twin brother disappeared at a young age and she spent the rest of her life searching for him, even becoming a guard at the prison where he was being held, only to not find him and end up back where she started without any of her memories at all. Every move she has made to escape the island where they grew up, to run from the Federation, was ultimately done under their watchful eye - she's spent her whole life kicking and screaming and fighting for her own freedom and for her family and in the end everything was ripped from her. Also her brother ended up being a cannibal serial killer (he's chill now tho) so I imagine that's fairly traumatic
Takizawa: This guy is more traumatized than Kaneki and you can quote me on that.
First, he was a soldier for the CCG. He was a pretty happy and excitable guy, but broke down pretty hard when faced with an actual possibility of dying. On his will, everything was normal, saying why he wanted to be an investigator and leaving all his possessions to his mom, and then wrote over top of the whole thing "I DON'T WANT TO DIE"
In the battle where he "died", he was terrified and shaking, but brave as he stood up against an extremely dangerous ghoul, Tatara, to protect his friend, Amon. Tatara just casually tossed him in the air and cut off his arm and part of his chest, and now here's where the real trauma starts!
See, Tatara kidnapped him and Amon for Dr. Kano's experiments in turning humans into ghouls. For at least two years, Takizawa was locked in a concrete cell and tortured every day. He had limbs cut off, he was cut open and had organs torn out, just whatever the doctor could do to greviously injure him, then he was forced to eat human flesh so he could regenerate, rinse and repeat every. Day. For two+ years.
Physical torture wasn't the only thing either! He was completely isolated from anyone else (he eventually found out Amon was in the cell next to him and talked to him a bit once, but then Amon escaped and left him), it's implied that he was also sexually assaulted for medical reasons, and the worst thing Kano did was force him to eat his own parents.
He starved him first, then prepared their bodies into horrible human meatballs, and then only told him after he ate them if it "reminded him of home". That obviously fucked him up big time, and it's the moment he entirely gave up and lost his mind.
Fast forward a bit, and the doctor reached his goal. He made a one eyed ghoul comprable to Kaneki and was using Takizawa as a living weapon. He was forced to kill all his former coworkers in the CCG, decapitating them with ease and eating their faces. He had a revenge plan, though.
Fast forward a bit more to the Rushima operation. His former boss, Houji, was leading a squad to kill Tatara (and that squad also happened to include Takizawa's former rival, Akira). Near the end of the battle, Takizawa swooped in and killed Tatara for them, saving Houji's life. He wanted to return to the CCG, but they were all scared of him of course, so Houji ordered the team to kill him. He became so enraged he killed everyone except Akira, who he tried to slowly choke before Amon saved her. Amon wanted to save Takizawa, offered him a way to live better, but he just couldn't listen until another investigator showed up and attacked him. Amon was incapacitated at this point, and when the investigator was about to kill Takizawa, Akira shielded him with her body. He begged her to stop, but she didn't, and almost died for him. This snapped him out of it and finally listened to Amon and escaped.
As Akira was dying, she needed a specific medicine to treat her, one that the doctor had used on him regularly. He willingly chose to go help get that medicine for her despite his trauma around it. And after that whole situation was taken care of and she was okay? He just left. Sabotaging all his relationships because he thought Amon and Akira would be happier without him around.
And from then on, the story kinda forgets about him. He doesn't even get a happy ending like everyone else does. He's just left all alone, killing and eating other dangerous ghouls to survive.

Bagi: THE MCRP CHARACTER OF ALL TIME IM SOOOO SERIOUS. I just talked about some of her QSMP lore here but afaik she continues this character's storyline on another server called Arkanis and things just get worse and worse for Bagi on there. Also she lied about being a vegetarian for like a week on QSMP to make everyone think she was weak and unassuming. For some reason. Truly the cubito ever

Tokyo Ghoul's Most TRAGIC Character - An Analysis of Seidou Takizawa
Ok I'm here to tell you guys about the canon ending for qBagi/akBagi for those who don't keep up with arkanis but still remember the qsmp character.
For a few days Bagi has been consumed by Chaos, an entity responsible for pure chaos, this started for many reasons but the main one said it's "she screamed but none of you heard" basically saying that Bagi was in some sort of agony that nobody noticed
Today, Bagi started talking about how it was her end, she knew it was her time, after some goodbyes she was dragged by Chaos somewhere. Her only request? That all pieces that were left of her were destroyed, so she didn't exist anymore in any reality
And that was done, there is no Bagi anymore, she died still blaming herself for everything that happened with her brother, everything that happened in Quesadilla, everything that happened in Arkanis
