Thomas was sad as a child, born affectionate but unable to hug anything without hurting it, as a child the only way he was able to touch was by wearing a thick Kevlar suit, but by age 6 his spikes had grown too strong and long that even that wasn’t enough. Saddened, his father went on an expedition to Terror, and returned with a pet, a geo elemental, a pet rock for his son to love.
