"My name's Yumi Joon." The woman didn't want to hide her name any longer in front of the President and his Turks to avoid any issues. She knew and felt she wasn't trusted, but the fact she could heal one with the stigma before despite it's created by a god-like entity, she had to prove her worth.
She approaches the man carefully, kneeling before him while taking her own made medications. The young lady looks at the stigma's state of Rufus via his arms. It's with no pressure, that she knew what to apply on this stigma's state to ease first the pains it causes, and starts by putting some naturally curative ointment on the arm, giving slow massages to it to make sure it's more effective and after some minutes of soft massages, she feels it's going well.
"You might feel less pains now, sir. And it's clearly less somber than it used to be before I applied the ointment. It means it's healing slowly but surely. The state of your stigma wasn't too serious, but if you waited another month, it'd get worse for you."
After applying the ointment, she washes quickly her hands before her secret to fully kill the stigma's manifestation Rufus has, a kind of elixir, very rare and known by the ancients before that only the most determinated curious persons would ever find and pour it onto Rufus arm and smiles softly, watching the stigma going away bit by bit.
"There... it won't bother you anymore, Mr Shinra. You had the fastest cure I had and I'm glad it works out fine on you as well. You're the second person that had a serious state of the stigma that I have saved so far." she said with a happy tone in her voice.
"Welcome, Ms. Joon," Rufus welcomed, detachedly polite. With the world struggling to rebuild around him, with Shinra's role in the destruction and rebirth of cities, Rufus has been focusing on everyone but himself. It was Tseng who found this woman in his private time, and Rufus would be lying if he said he was anything but skeptical. But a shot in the dark was better than none at all, and he'd humor the Turks.
That was why he was so surprised when the ointment actually helped. Of course dulling pain was something that they'd managed on their own. But the pills diminished in effectiveness over time. Having another options was a good thing. Yumi's words took him aback. "Healing?" his eyes bored into the woman. He could sense the Turks watching her as well. Anger boiled inside him to the point that he kept his jaw clenched shut. He had so many questions, but he knew all too well the past couldn't be changed. The lives lost were already gone, and making an enemy of this woman now wouldn't do.
He waited until he'd mastered himself to speak, only for Yumi to produce yet another bottle of something that looked like a potion, but was decidedly not. He outright gaped and the stigma, the pain, simply... vanished.
Wide eyed, he shared a startled look with Tseng.
"Boss?" came Reno's strangled voice from off to the side. Taking a deep, pain-free breath, Rufus stood and looked down at Yumi.
"Tell me how these are made. You said you've cured others? If you tell us what to get, we can help more. We have a manufacturing plant set up for medication already. We can shift production to make whatever this is instead." There was an edge of urgency to his voice, and tension in the room as all eyes watched the woman.
