Pleasant Rotation 1 Part 1
Angela Pleasant was a horrible little bitch. Everyone knew that. Lilith was simply providing a public service by slapping her. She should be awarded for this act of selflessness, honestly.
More after the cut:
While her daughters murdered each other, Mary-Sue was feeling smug. Bless poor Cassie. She had it hard with Don-Manuel Miranda Lothario, and now she was shacked up with the older, starving artist Darren Dreamer. This wouldn't happen to Mary-Sue; no, her marriage was as solid as her husband's...wallet.
Yes, Dan-Dan had a new lease on life and was truly taking care of his fitness. Mary-Sue assumed it was all for her, and she was too busy in her political career to consider that there was another possibility.
Yes, Daniel had his eye on other prizes. He was far more interesting in getting getting fuzz-deep into Kaylynn's feather duster than pleasing his wife.
While Daniel was having his chrome polished, his darling little girl/the true face of evil was having the rock that lived where her heart should be smashed into smithereens by her boyfriend Dustin, who was far more interested in her behated sister's boyfriend Dirk. How could she face school after this? He was breaking up with her?? The audacity.
Meanwhile...
Mary-Sue was similarly outraged. She had built an entire persona around perfection, and now her husband was sampling other pies...in her bed of all places? Nope. Mary-Sue knew that in order to save face, she had to kick him to the curb. Little Dan-Dan could fend for himself in a shitty bachelor apartment and like it.
Lilith cut herself some trauma bangs to cope with the rather unemotional absence of her feckless father.
Mary-Sue attempted to win her daughters over with some shitty, burnt mac and cheese. Lilith hated her regardless, but also hated Daniel, and Angela sure as hell wasn't leaving their McMansion for a seedy apartment.
In spite of their supposed trauma, Lilith's grades actually went up, and Angela tried her luck with Stevie-Ray Turpin. If Mary-Sue was paying attention to her daughters, the latter would appall her.
The prophecy did not come true and Mary-Sue found herself promoted to Lobbyist. Perhaps Daniel had been holding her back?
To celebrate, she invited her parents, Coral and Herb over for some rather safe sandwiches.
Lilith adored her grandparents, even if Coral was attempting to encourage her to be nicer. Perhaps, she thought, they'd let her move in if she gave it a solid go.
There would always be tomorrow...
In the spirit of things (and genuinely missing her friend), she invited Dirk over to make up. He apologised profusely and they decided to remain friends.
Mary-Sue tracked down Don-Manuel Miranda Lothario's (he still has the shitty little ponytail I gave him) apartment for some revenge woohoo, but insdead she bumped into Mr Kim from the neighbouring apartment. She enjoyed their chat and found herself leaving without meeting Don Jr.
Inspired by her sister's apparent selflessness and not one to be outdone, Angela made up and made out with Dustin (who was still apparently not exclusive with Dirk while they manouvred their break ups). Oh dear.
Mary-Sue received a second promotion to Campaign Manager (because she's just that good) and to celebrate, she invited her bff Cassandra and her new interest Mr. Theo Kim over to celebrate. Theo got the memo.
Fun was had by all...
Well...Mary-Sue had a nice time.
In fact she had such a nice time that she moved that nice Mr. Kim in along with his cat, Dr. Isosceles.
One for the road.
