❖ What would you be willing to kill for?
“…my life?”
“I killed some monster creature to save myself and that hot actor, Theo.”
Skeletons in Our Closet || Raven and Theo
No, no, no. It wasn't real. Vasher wasn't here. He'd left the Circus years ago, taking his rage and missing eye with him, and Raven had closed that door firmly in his wake.
He couldn't hurt her anymore.
As soon as she'd spotted him in the Crow common room, just standing there as if he owned the pace and smiling at her, she ran. Down several flights of stairs, through more doorways than she could count with her mind in a haze of Can't. Won't. No. No, no, no...
She could hear him laughing behind her. How had he followed her? Horribly lost, Raven turned a corner and ran straight into Theodore Warren. She swore. "Theo. No, you can't be here. You have to get out." The only thing worse than Vasher hurting her was him hurting someone else in her name, and he would do it. Slowly and painfully. He hated her that much. She couldn't let that happen.
She'd thought she was afraid last time they spoke, when they flew to the lake. It was like stubbing your toe compared to being shot in the gut.
Not knowing what to do in her panic, Raven grabbed Theodore's shirt and made to drag him towards the nearest classroom. "We have to get out!" she hissed.

Maia rubbed her hands along her arms while she padded barefoot down the halls. The cold that hit her after she left the safety of her own room. She moved quickly, practically running down the halls before she stopped in front of a familiar door, opening it silently before slipping inside. She let out a sigh of relief before moving towards his closet, not bothering to be quiet any longer Her hands trailed over things before she picked a soft sweater, pulling it over her small frame without a pause.
When she turned towards the bed she watched with a blank expression as Theo sat up. While his expression become one of confusion, she started to smile, her smile growing as his confusion did. “What are you doing?” His groggy tone made her laugh.
"Running away from the past." She replied while she walked over to the side of the bed, running a hand though her hair while she went. "Too much seeing, not enough sleeping. Move over, will you?"
"What are you-?"
"Nope, shut up and move over." She didn't say anything else while she watched as he scooted over. Maia picked up the covers, slipping in beside him and reaching over to pull a pillow under her head. "I'm just going to sleep here, okay?" The fingers of her left hand danced over the scar on her cheek, while her right hand tangled in his sheets. "When you wake up you can go get me coffee, then I'l wake up, and we can go run." She turned onto her side, tucking her arm under the pillow while she watched him, "Sound like a plan?" A quiet yawn escaped her while she let her eyes flutter closed, "Night Theo."
As she began to drift off she could just barely hear him mutter a confused 'night', before going back to sleep himself.
