“because he is a baby, are you kidding? he’s one of the youngest people i know and even if he doesn’t accept it, having him around all these year’s got me to develop a really soft spot for him. plus, the kid doesn’t say it but he’s definitely got baby mentality. i know he’s got a really bright future ahead of him, i just don’t want him to be stupid and potentially ruin that for himself. he can’t see that far ahead yet because he’s only 3 feet tall, though.“

“is it acceptable to say i want to be a really young and hot producer & songwriter? because that’s the goal.  i’m hoping to start doing some of my own stuff really soon, maybe even write or produce for some people when i get the chance. but for now, i wanna establish my own career, and get some songs out, all that. 

“well….korea right now. at this point of my life, i’m trying to be with my friends, and all my people are here. wish i could something ‘bout my parents, though. but they don’t really wanna leave florida, so i get it. but if not here….america, again? maybe cali, though. korea’s hard enough as it is, i think i’m too american and just don’t have the energy to try adjusting to somewhere else all over again if i’m being honest.

would you get plastic surgery given the opportunity?

The opportunity has come up a few times in the past, and the opportunity is always there.. I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never considered getting plastic surgery, or something cosmetic done, but.. truth be told, I’m a little scared. If I get work done and it turns out botched, or I look worse than I do now, I don’t know what I’d do. I don’t want to risk hating my appearance even more than I do now, so no, I wouldn’t. 

what’s the last thing you’d want to hear about yourself?

That I’m a bad person. You can say whatever you want about me, and a lot has been said, but the one thing that couldn’t be said is that I’m a bad guy. I try my best to be good to everyone because I know that’s the only thing I’ve really got going for me.

to say eunjae is a distracted person is an understatement. they are often in some other place, lost in their own head and their own universe. they can only truly focus when they work, when they are on the stage and there are enough expectations on their back that they can’t help but stay exactly where they are. it’s a bit terrifying, how easily they can dissociate and be somewhere else but it’s something they are used to, something they got considerably better at with the years. now they just deal with it, as well as they can. it doesn’t mean that other people don’t end up being a victim of that behavior. they don’t see the boy as they are walking down the corridor and walk straight into him – the cup of soda they are carrying spilling down the other’s front and most definitely staining the shirt he’s wearing. “‌ oh, shit, ” eunjae is quick to try and help. “ i’m so sorry! ”
