literally the same issue i'm having now, i stg I'll look over a job listing that fits me perfectly but then it says 'must have valid driver's license' thwarted from economic improvement again
yeah it really blows, especially bc 9 times out of 10 the position doesn’t even involve driving at all, and like any excuses about “well you’ll need to come to meetings out-of-city / work at other locations sometimes!” don’t cut it because there are ways of making that work without a car, especially if it’s infrequent, plus we live in a city where 1) there’s decent public transportation, and 2) traffic is so bad that having a car does not in any way guarantee showing up on time, or even being quicker than taking public transit
it feels like real blatant classism
