Gender Headcanon: Trans!

A ship I have with said character: Basic bitch here who is 100% into the Avi/Johann train. Like, I’m pretty sure that these two have never even talked to each other in canon but you can’t kicked me off this ever. 

A BROTP I have with said character: Ren. They have even less reason in canon to know each other, but in NM I totally see them as being buds. There’s a lot of segments of these two interacting with each other that I omitted that I might find a way to squeeze back into the story or just post separately some day.

A NOTP I have with said character: Listen. If I said what it is, you all are going to have to ask me what I was doing looking at that kind of stuff in the first place and that’s not a conversation I ever want to have. 

A random headcanon: Hmm, you probably know about my portwine stain thing so… How about this: I like to think that Johann accidentally stumbled into his job as the Voidfish’s caretaker. Like I bet he was originally hired on to do field work, but he got a strange fascination with the voidfish and started playing music to it. Lucretia realized that Fischer needed someone to be its friend like Magnus was and Johann volunteered without really thinking the implications through.  

General Opinion over said character: I love Johann, even if I have no idea how to write him properly rip

A random headcanon: Shit, I should’ve saved the Graham one for this… Um, Jess’s back up career is accounting and her parents call her every Sunday to ask when she’s going to put that degree to good use. Jess hates it. She doesn’t even like math. 

General Opinion over said character: I actually haven’t really put much thought into her. Like, I think in my ranking of all of my favorite taz side characters, she’s towards the bottom

I think it isn't from Sylvain? I think it's just a very pure source/form of life force of earth, which is a good enough substitute? Either that or it is Sylvain water and it's just there in the same way that farie rings and doorways and eyes in corn fields in the middle of the night are, the spring crosses a ley line or something that there's enough of a magical transfer of sylvian life force that the water is imbued with it, if either of those ideas make sense

I don’t think the Sylphs would be able to survive on natural Earth energy, but I'm into the idea that the water is from Earth and is imbued with Sylvain energy by something in the ground. 

Consider: the spring was built with some stones/wood/crystal from Sylvain. This seems logistically reasonable, though I'm not sure whether it makes sense in the mythology. Barclay apparently has a piece of that orange crystal, and it still glows, so I'm willing to accept that crystal, at least, could provide a renewable source of energy for them. But, if they had material from Sylvain that provided energy in sufficient quantities, would they even need the water? 

Maybe the water somehow amplifies the energy. Or maybe the energy is produced slowly/at low levels, and the water stores it like a battery so they can have enough to use at any one time, and prevent excess energy from being lost to the air.

Of course, this is now wild speculation with no basis in canon. So, grain of salt and all that.

that would be @honeybunchesofjokes who’s a super pretty, very talented artist who’s always ready to fight. she’s literally korra from lok except instead of bending she has art. a generator of many puns. loves dogs and any animal that will sit still long enough to be pet.
