I edited a series of photographs and selected four to make a collage… but this is such a cool piece, I just had to post all four photos. It measures about 5’ long, 30” wide, and the top is 15” from the ground. Two of the cast iron/hard rubber wheels are a whopping 12” in diameter! There is a plate on the front that identifies it as ‘Service Caster & Truck Company’. A little history: The Service Caster & Truck Company was founded in 1915 in Missouri and relocated to Michigan in 1923. The firm manufactured industrial casters, floor trucks and trailers, industrial lifts, fork lift trucks and electric four-post lifters. Due to labor disputes, the company was sold, and subsequently closed, in 1954. So many options… how would YOU use this??? #sistersantiques. #antique. #vintage. #theoriginalpicker. #industial. #industrialdesign. #vintageindustrial. #antiqueindustrial. #industrialcart. #industrialcaster. #madeinamerica. #USA. #repurposed. #reclaimed. #servicecasterandtruckcompany.
