at first it's just sex. - wes/gemma/wren

you can't tell the difference between who you're fucking and who you're kissing. it's all pretty much a blur of pleasure and losing yourself in it. but as time continues, you start to etch the differences of their lips in your memory. every curve of their hips. the way their hair smells as you bury your nose in it or the sounds that escape them in the midst of it all. somewhere along the way you start to realize the differences, and that's when wes knows he's in too deep.

and it wasn’t necessarily just the physical things that started to stand out to him, which was just another inkling pushing him towards knowing he should probably step away from the whole thing. whether it was staying up for late conversations because he knew wren enjoyed the night time or knowing when to pull gemma out of her seclusion or forcing himself to sit through an entire meg ryan movie marathon because he knew it made them happy; he knew more about them than he had any other person he’d met. he was little by little giving himself to them and taking them in.

ah, fuck. a normal thought passing his mind nowadays. he wanted to be against it. he wanted to screw everything up, as per usual. he wanted to not feel exactly what he was feeling or say what he wanted to say. the words were practically pushing past his lips, but he kept them stitched shut. he knew he was screwed though, because as every day goes by he’s growing tired. when he’s tired, the truth starts coming out and he mumbles in his sleep, and wes knows he’s going to slip. the thing that worries him the most, though, is how he’s actually starting not to care.

stomach kiss + future lake (warning: ridiculous amounts of fluff ahead)

"would you stay still for two seconds?"

lux was sitting on a counter top in hers and jake's kitchen, her hands in his hair, attempting to get all the long hairs into a bun before they attempted (or, well, he and oliver attempted) painting the bedroom that was currently bare. he was never just still, at least not when he had to be. it took her locking him in with her legs around his waist for him to finally stop bouncing long enough for lux to get the hair tie securely put in place. "all done." she patted the bun, a smile on her face, still ridiculously in love with his long locks. it had been years since he started growing it, and every time he'd thought about having it cut, lux would threaten no sex until it grew back out again. it was obviously a winning argument.

lux relaxed her legs enough for him to turn around, a hand dropping down to rest on her protruding stomach. the little one inside, just as active as her father. "she's definitely yours. already has the sullivan active trait." her voice was dry, but the humor in her eyes showed she was joking.  

she watched as he leaned down, his fingers raising the hem of her shirt slightly. her brow quirked as he bent over placing small kisses on the skin that was between him and his daughter. every kiss on her skin had a kick in response, ones that were quite easy to identify. lux shook her head, knowing she already had a daddy's girl on her hands; and knowing she was going to have her hands full with both of them sooner rather than later. "okay, okay. give my ribs a break, please?" lux chuckled, pushing him away with her legs lightly and pulling her shirt back down. "go pink up that nursery."
