Since Sigma had been such a genius in figuring out the padlock puzzle, and had done all that work climbing up the bookcase to get the lion, he was ready to sit back and take it easy, and make Clover do the dice puzzle. She didn’t seem to mind, really - it was almost as if she desperately needed to get her mind away from all the horrid things Sigma had been saying in the previous hour.
