For decades after his best friend passed away, Raylan Gray was without one. Until Anna Jovovich came into his life. In their many years together, she has become a symbol of stability for him. (By ‘stability’ we mean that she’s able to effectively help him reign his anger and the chaos which comes with it, while at the same time help him use that anger in more productive ways.) And in turn, he’s been able to help her with her phobia and help her come to terms with the past and the traumas linked to it, albeit with great challenges and obstacles. The fact that they are part of each other’s support system strongly suggests that she is as close to his best friend as he can have or will ever have, if not his actual best friend. @auburn-clairvoyance
