It was early morning in the little water covered planet the locals referred to as the “earth”. Beause of course they would.
The large gem stepped up to the control panel as the sand and water covered land came into view. Finally. She had been travelling for days now and, although the enviroment was hardly the most agreeable to her, the alien creature was relieved to finally leave the darkness of the void.
Her ship was, comparably, much smaller than the one previously sent to this sector, a bit more old fashioned (as she had heard from the Peridots and other more technologically inclined gems multiple times) but much faster and more efficient in combat than the larger models and newer models.
Her large rose colored palm hovered over the ship’s panel. Numbers and coordinates clouded her vision in preparation for the landing, not at all counting that any of the creatures in this planet could possess enough military prowess or technology advanced enough to pose as a threat to her.
