Weekly Report

Still putting lines in the intro! 

The new Ash (@AnotherAsian2) has finished recording his lines for the intro, so hopefully things will go smoother. All the leads and side characters are done EXCEPT FOR 3/4 Ashs. Ash is always the problem child.

I’ve made a list of the new CGs that will be included in the update. The new CGs for the intro are already done! If you haven’t seen them already, here’s a sneak peek:

I’m also revamping The Pretenders Guild UI.

The nav probably isn’t quite finished, but I’m giving it a tighter, cleaner look! 

I can’t tell you when the intro will be done, but I’m making slow and steady progress! 

I’ve started sketching the next new CG. Once it’s pretty enough to show I’ll post a WIP on Patreon. 

So I’m going to do these updates every Sunday from now on! This tumblr is so neglected Dx it’s mostly a lot of the same though. Ash has 600 or something lines and it’s tedious work labeling them all and exporting but I’ll get it done DDx

Deleted Scene SPOILER ALERT

So originally there was going to be a choice at the end of chapter four.

You could choose whether to agree to help Rafael or not. Eventually I decided to keep the flow of the story more linear, but here’s how chapter 5 would have started if you disagreed...

ash “…” ash “…No. I can’t do that… I can’t just let you walk into the castle to assassinate someone.” “Rafael stares at me. It’s not like his usual one. This one seems almost… imploring.” “I look over to Paris, wavering briefly in my decision, and then Rafael moves towards me.” “Sword in hand.” ash “R-Rafael…?” r “I did not want to hurt you, Ash.” “He raises his sword.” p “Ash!” “Before I know it, Paris is darting in front of me. And just as fast, Rafael bats him away. Like Paris was a fly.” “A mere annoyance. One flick of his wrist and the Cubi is sent sprawling against the ground.” ash “Paris!” “I try to see if he’s all right, but Rafael grabs my arm. Hard.” ash “Ah!” “He pulls me around, lifting my arm above my head and drawing the blade to my neck.” “I can’t move.” “My heart is beating so loud I can’t even hear myself think.” “Would Rafael really kill me? Just like that?” if route == “Rafael”: “I thought… I really thought that we… that maybe we…” “The blade presses closer to my skin, and as blood wells up so do my eyes, my teeth digging into my lower lip.
