Minyan nyan nyan!!!!
(FOR: Orthodox) I'm writing a story where an observant Jewish celebrity is traveling incognito. Given that he's a recognizable public figure, how would he daven with a minyan while maintaining anonymity? Or, perhaps, to what extent could he feasibly maintain anonymity in that setting?

🤣 10 Jewish adults are required for certain components of the regular daily or Shabbat services (including Barchu, Kedushah and the repetition of the Amidah), reading from the Torah and haftarah portions in synagogue, and saying Kaddish among other things. Why do these prayers require a minyan? How long have Jews prayed in minyans? Visit our link in bio to find out. 🕍
Unfortunately I missed the Artfight deadline, but I did draw some peoples' robot blorbos, and I don't want all that effort to rot in my gallery, so!! Behold! Credits under the cut :]

If you’re just short of 10 people for a minyan, would someone attending over Zoom count to make it to 10?

What’s a minyan? Goy button
This question is just for curiosity purposes. My minyan is having a hard time finding enough of us for the first evening of Rosh Hashanna and the group has already decided that, no, Zoom attendees do not count toward the necessary 10.
But I wanna hear other opinions
