Lucien had just finished unpacking his things when Raiden had unceremoniously invited himself in and made a mess of things. He was the tribrid’s sire by definition, but that was all. Raiden treated him little different then he did the slaves and the master hated him for it. Just reinvigorating his need to find a way to pull apart the different beasts in him to make him nothing more than a human he would drink dry with a righteous sense of vindication. As it was, he was left annoyed and hungry.
Redressing in a bespoke suite tailored by Camps de Luca, a little perturbed Raiden had ruined one of his Cifonelli’s, he decided to head down to the undercroft. It wasn’t that it couldn’t be replaced, but he would have to return to Paris for it and he’d just arrived at the castle. Plus the number of suits currently in his closet was odd and it bothered him more than it should.
Stepping out of his suite he near ran into a form one he recognized immediately and his distaste for the castle increased exponentially. Seemed it was full of mongrels. “Mister Whitechapel.” Lucien’s words cold as his features. He and the hybrid had a number of encounters due to both of their positions on the council, not to mention Raiden had brought the ghoul to his lab as well in France. Raiden was hard enough to deal with, but both were going to make his stay a challenge and he was staying because Lucien refused to be run off by the vulgar mongrels. His stature, pride, and stubbornness would never let him concede to the detestable pair.
“What a wonderful surprise.” His tone patronizing. “Despite how I would adore to reminisce with you I currently have more pressing engagements. If you would excuse me.” Lucien moving to step around him, but Syd moved with him effectively blocking his way. He was already livid from dealing with Raiden and that man only got under his skin half as much as Syd. The Frenchman's eyes narrowed. “I am in no mood for your games hybrid.”
