It's been too long since he steps out from his domain and back into their own timeline. Saseki tries not to do this often ever since the current Time Government had been informed of his 'time pocket drifting' in the past. Speaking of the government...

Saseki only hopes they don't shove their nosy beaks into this one.

His modern-day attire clearly shows that he himself comes from a rather well-to-do family even before he's chosen as saniwa; sleek black turtleneck underneath custom-tailored royal blue long coat with silver embroidery at the edges, paired with black leather gloves and beige-colored business slacks. Walking into the hotel lobby where Ouji had been staying, the sound of his boots clicking on the marble floor echo through the room, announcing his arrival.

He has a bouquet with him as a gesture of goodwill; the combination of red spider lily, white carnation, daffodils, and gladiolus make up the saniwa's statement:

You're still a rival, an adversary of mine, but should you ever need it, I will do the best I can to help you.

While he much prefers his signature dandara haori, he's civil enough to entertain Ouji's 'demands' in changing his attire while within his pocket prison domain. This shade of blue is the closest that matches Saseki 🥺

30. The prince purposefully antagonizes Saseki, hurling insults; "what are you gonna do about it?"

He's this close, so goddamn close to lifting his chair--with rage-fueled strength--and just throws directly at this--this--!

Saseki can still tolerate Ouji's constant jab at him, but to involve his men--his dear comrades--and hurling insults at their expenses?

But then--

Something clicks inside his head.

What starts at fiery burning rage slowly turns a ruthless, cold contempt.

The smile that curls on his lips had unnerved even the swords in his high court, but then the sudden slow laugh from Saseki's throat had sent chills down every single being present.

"What am I going to do? Why, absolutely nothing, Your Highness~ Why waste my breath giving you the reaction you want when you know the absolute truth~?

"We all know that the only freedom you have right now is the freedom to rule your domain like it's your own little playroom while you play with your little dolls, and running your pretty little mouth without having to face the consequences~"

His chuckles suddenly becomes more...sinister.

"See, that's why you and I are different, Your Highness~ I will never put my fate in someone else's hands, and that's why I always win, and you lose~ So, good luck with your honesty."

With that, he rips open a time pocket, and gracefully steps in before swiftly closing it behind him, not even bothering to see Ouji's reaction.

A situation for your muse to go through? A little visit with Ouji in his prison pocket dimension, but he gets stuck there for a week instead of being able to just hop right back home. Genuinely want to see him lose his mind over the course of a week. Having to witness first-hand the court life... Although I guess he could always just go chill in the lower court, but where's the fun in that?

Let's be real, by the fourth day he'd prolly be starting a mutiny within Ouji's own walls with all the Bakumatsu swords in that house 👀 by then it's not Saseki doing the talking tho

To be fair, if it had been a banter between their friends, they probably would let the joke slide once or twice. But it came from someone not even within their circle, so Saseki had been quick enough to get said person to shut up.

...before Ouji made himself known with that remark.

Most days Saseki can tolerate Ouji's...antics, but unfortunately, today is not exactly one of those.

He's not even sure if Ouji means it well or it's just him being his skrunkly sarcastic self (as if he isn't most of everyday).

"Yea well it's a shame I can't say the same thing for certain people, y'know~?"
