She learned many things since she’d left the restrictive protection of the Kraang laboratories. She learned of something called weather, for instance. She learned of wind and sun and moon. She learned of heat and chill which far overshadowed what she had experienced from the air-conditioned halls of the laboratories.
She learned of rain. And she really hated rain.
Caught off guard by an oncoming storm, the hissing mutant darted along the landscape, body close to the ground as the raindrops pelted her mercilessly. Her fur soaked up, her hoodie heavy with rain water, and all she could do was hunt for shelter.
She found it eventually; a broken open water tower that had long been abandoned by whomever had use for it. Rushing inside, Cat Scratch groaned and grumbled whilst she shook off the water from her fur, trying to groom her shoulders and rid herself of the rain. It was only when she twisted her head around that she noticed she had actually intruded into another mutant’s shelter.
