Yes, I think that's one of the most likely options! I like to think that if Gems could have offspring, they would be the same Gem(s) as a potential fusion between the parents. Some examples of Lapidot fusions/offspring could be:

Turquoise!

Amazonite!

Chrysocolla!

And Grandidierite!

These are just a few off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's plenty of other blue/green gems that would be fantastic options!
