Couple this with, "you don't always deserve good things," and you can make it through life without alot of wasted disappointment. #lifelessons #Repost @therandomstories with @get_repost ・・・ the place we live in is beautiful. our house is right next to a tall cherry blossom tree that splatters pink on the ground every now and then. the place we live in is beautiful. that is if you are born deaf. every day, you not only hear the birds singing, the gushing river water but also gunshots and bomb shivers. if you listen closely, you can even hear grief, sorrow and the sound of broken dreams. in the fight between the soldiers and the terrorists, we always end up on the losing side. losing a family member, a neighbour or the shop owner you knew closely is a daily occurence for us. we don't have bulletproof clothes so we wear bulletproof hearts instead. it was just seven years back when i got married to a beautiful man. the one whose mouth spoke poems and eyes spoke love. if i close my eyes, i can still picture that moment when we came to this house for the first time. he took one look at the cherry blossom tree and said, 'this is where we'll live. in our brown house and pink garden' if i close my eyes, i can see him. it's the only place where he lives now. my daughter, she was three when she came up to me and told me 'i love you'. love. that was the word her teacher taught her in her english class. my daughter, she was three when those terrorists bombed up the entire school. i still remember that day. i couldn't even go running to the place. so i sat under the cherry blossom tree and wept and wept. i looked up to the sky and shouted, 'but she had just learnt the word love' in the war between the soldiers and the terrorists, i lost. i lost to the government, the army, the terrorists, fate. seven days later, i left the house. you see, it was doomed from the very start. it wasn't a pink garden. it was always meant to be a pink graveyard. the place we live in is beautiful. that is if you are born without a heart. . . . . . . . . . . . #therandomstories #love #life #quotes #quoteoftheday #lovequotes #stories #writing #writerscommunity #reading #follow #quotes # https://www.instagram.com/p/CGkiSc1g5yS/?igshid=idzloe6kth0f
