The Queen and The Archer (Closed RP)

The entire Kingdom of Everwood was tense. They could feel the beginnings of a war begin to brew. A neighboring kingdom to the north had sent the royal family the diseased head of a cattle along with a cryptic note, warning Everwood to prepare for such sights very soon. The king demanded that he and his men ride to this villainous kingdom to discover the meaning of such a message but the queen had another idea. She proposed that a small, five men or less band of diplomats attempt to speak with the kingdom before making any assumptions. And, the queen herself would travel with them. The king, of course, did not favor such a dangerous plan but the queen insisted.

The queen brought with her a servant and an adviser but still needed someone to protect her from bandits and any other wrong-doers on their way north. She was taking a walk through the kingdom, needing to get out of the castle for a while, and spotted an archer practicing his craft. She stood off to the side to watch him as a servant held an umbrella above her head. An archer would be perfect for her trip. Quiet, quick, and could easily scout out danger. (Plus he was cute too boot.)
