It's common for people to go to community college to get their gen ed credits before applying to a four year college/university (it's the same thing, just two different words). By doing so they can go to a four year college with the first year and a half or so taken care of credit wise and save monies and decide on a major as well in the mean time.
that sounds like a really good idea tbh we gotta decide immediately after school here!
