Damnit, why is the act of putting a scene you’ve been thinking about for weeks and have all plotted out down on paper so difficult? It’s like, I know how this goes. I know what words to use. I know all of this...until I try to write it out, then everything just jams and I can’t access any of it! It actively feels like I have a localized head cold just in the part of my brain that makes the story!

When you have to resort to manipulation techniques to make your relatives stop saying "oh you're only saying that now, find a nice husband/wife some day, get married and want kids, just wait and see" every time the general topic of your supposed love life comes up

I screwed up my right arm again somehow (it's been weird for more than a week, and I'm trying to fix it, but... that is my lot in life, thank you faulty connective tissue disorder), so I'm finally committing to trying to teach myself to draw lefty. I've tried before but always get bored and frustrated, so I figured this time instead of drawing lines and boxes and circles, I'll try to draw through the Pokedex. I'm doing one sheet a day, so this is the past four days of Pokemon. I think I'm actually making some progress! Just... Don't look at Raichu. Please, please don't look at Raichu. Its very existence is an affront to god and science.
