And also the gods were all useless and evil and never did anything helpful at all ever and were all abusive parents and rapists and Worst of All got into relationships with Problematic Age Gaps and everyone in ancient Greece hated and feared them and nobody actually revered or worshipped them except when Patriarchy/Capitalism (??) forced them too! expanding on my last post bc im cool (post was basically abt how mages, in bannerfall, are seen "useless/replaceable" and how they always have to overcompensate)(by “seen i mean like how the perceive themselves)(this is actually me projecting lol.....):

sausage: he seems to be very arrogant in a way, loud and constantly showing off his powers and strength. he also always gets very aggressive when his scythe is taken and threats a lot as a way to lash out at ppl. as if if he shows them how intimidating he is, mayeb they'll be too scared to make him leave

cam: also very arrogant and full of himself. he constantly insults blue kingdom and is very bossy to his subjects, which comes from having to justify your worth time and time again. and also him overcompensating for his "weak" magic (from what i know his spells weren't working properly?? and/or he's a healer?)

shandrea: tends to lash out in words (calling nom a cheater multiple times over lol) almost if she needs to establish that she's only losing bc they're cheating. that she's not weak. that shes not powerless. constantly yelling bc ppl won't hear her otherwise. she won't be seen or heard and jst disappear

scott: constantly showing off his powers, but instead of as a way of intimidation, to show hows he's useful. how his spells can help them, how he is useful.. bc he has to be...

eloise: maybe her loosing the crown to shan, who had jst got there and almost killed mae. immediately being upset and tensing up and having to almost defend why she should have gotten it. bc shes been there for longer, she knows how to control her magic. she deserves it... doesn't she?

cherri: wanting to prove themself. wanting to be a fire mage, wanting to make her father proud. her kingdom proud. they just wants to be able to be a good daughter. to almost pay tribute to their fathers last wish.

i mean.. yall... the blue mages are there to replace the dead mages. thats literally WHY THEYRE THERE. i rlly think of the "you dont have to be perfect or exceptionally great. you don't even have to be good." audio for the mages.
