Genuine question: What kinds of characters do you not like? Meaning: what kind of character traits would make you dislike a character?

i was about to say i dont have one, and that its all down to the writing of said character.... BUT...

i really dislike Mysterious Broody Hot Boys. you know that type. maybe its cause im gay but URGH this always rubs me the wrong way.

Maybe they use it for killing any intruders that steal the Diamond's phones?

maybe, though I think that’s kind of a narrow function since I can’t imagine it’s too often a Gem other than a Diamond (or their Pearl) get near a communicator and even then the only function is to video chat with the other Diamonds.

Also, it’s just way funnier to me to imagine the function solely exists for The Drama

Yeah. I accidently talked to her too much and she thought I was flirting with her. Which I wouldn't have minded. I was a bit heartbroken that FemShep couldn't romance her.

Saaame, haha. I’m a lot disappointed I can’t romance several of the girls as femshep, especially the human crew. The asari seem to be fair game for either genders because they’re a monogender species in the first place, but when it comes to the the human women - Miranda, Jack, Ashley, they can all only be romanced by mSep. It’s very disheartening.

Bioware has a couple of problems when it comes to same gender relationships. For example, the fact that it took them three games to make one male crew member romanceable (Kaidan) and by them, several people had already killed off Kaidan in the first game.

It took them until Andromeda to make one male alien crew member romanceable by the male main character and that was due to fandom outcry and Bioware had to patch that to make Jaal romanceable by Scott, rather than just Sara.

But when it comes to the romance options for the female player characters it’s even worse lmao. Can you believe they said they wouldn’t make Ashley romanceable in ME3 because there wasn’t enough outcry from the fandom? Or the fact that althought Tali isn’t romanceable by femShep, there are records of the VAs’ voices in the disc that prove that they originally were planning for her to  be bi but eventually went back on that decision?

It’s a mess.
