[Lucy remembered in perfect clarity: “Good news, Miss Baker! We were a little over booked, but your loyalty with us allowed us to upgrade your room!” It was pain enough having to travel with Amon, but she’d reserved a room with two beds that were supposed to be in separate room., at least. So she’d thought it wouldn’t be too bad.]
[And then she saw the room.]

“Puppy!” [Her eyes lit up and she immediately focused on the dog rather than Amon.] “What’s a little cutie like you doing with a rude man like this~?” [She cooed at the dog offering a finger for it to sniff.]
