I mean, black trans women are targeted at a much higher rate than white trans women, especially in recent years. The pulse shooting took place at a club in Miami on Latin American night, so a large portion of those club goers were brown. Like yes it isn’t a race about who has it worse but let’s not ignore the fact that certain groups of people do have it significantly worse.
Either way the post you replied to was directed at a specific bullshit post and is moreso about white people taking accountability for their actions and their place within a racist and oppressive system, even if they are also oppressed by the system, as well as having some goddamn empathy for people of color since a lot of people don’t, they’d just rather complain about people hating white people bc “not all white people are bad” which is literally just a rerun of the #notallmen thing so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
