Send me a ■ and the muse will say aloud the first thing they think internally about your character.
"I want so badly to wrap you in a hug and never let go.” Elsa’s gaze fell to the floor, the faintest hint of a blush forming in her cheeks. “I really think you’d benefit from that somehow.”
thereaiprincehans replied to your post “{ wait, no, this is late but i need this } "I’d die for you.”
(( OMG NO [/choked sobbing] I just might...i might want to reply to this tho....[/casually drafts and waits to c]))
{ -edges you towards it- you know I will never say no to a reply from you because I would never because I love you and our emotional rollercoaster threads let me hold you and love you my beautiful precious lovely }
{ wait, no, this is late but i need this } "I’d die for you."
His words could have ripped her soul in two. Why would he say that? Did he think she wanted to hear it? Her whole body stopped where she had been pacing, so deep in consideration as they began to play over and over in her mind. Elsa hadn't wanted to hear something like that from Hans. She had come to rely on him, had come to appreciate his company. He had sworn allegiance to her, certainly, but she had never considered the possibility that he might actually put his life on the line should it be required.
For most Queens, such a declaration was something to be truly admired and in some ways, Elsa could feel her heart fluttering but others reminded her how stupid a notion that was. For him to die for her would mean she would be in a life without him. Never, prior to their strange and comfortable friendship, would she have thought Hans would be in that list of precious few people she would not want to live without, but there he was. Azure eyes snapped up finally, scrutinising him.
"No you wouldn't," She almost-scolded. There was an attitude to her voice that could have been questioning, but it was the softening of her eyes that gave away her heart. "If you think I would let you throw yourself before a sword for me, you are mistaken. I could not-" bear to watch, to be alone. To live in a world without you. "allow such an act. There are more important things."
Her hands moved to her hips when she realised the severity of the situation, for he to be giving such declarations in the first place meant that things were dire, but she couldn't simply just let him do it. "I forbid it." She finally said, taking a few steps closer to cup his cheek gently, what had been a stern voice now dropping to a whisper. "Do you hear me, Hans? If you were to die for me, I'd force you back to life. Don't you dare even consider it for a moment."
"INTERRUPTION"
8. Your muse distracts mine from finishing the book they’re reading.
Despite the fact that she had rather too much to do inside the castle, Elsa had slipped into the gardens and onto the lawns with a book. She had invited Hans to join her but hadn't waited. Perhaps that was her own fault. People were busy around the castle and they hadn't noticed her sitting out. She turned the pages lazily.
Despite the fact that it was spring - which meant her nuptials were impending - it was still crisp and cool enough outside that Elsa could be comfortable. Her face changed with the story as she read and drew nearer to the end of the book. She had only a few pages left when Hans' voice pulled her out of her reverie and she looked mildly pained.
"Hans, I wasn't sure you were coming," She said, glancing down at the words again as if trying to read and talk at the same time. The acknowledgement however was all he received as she was once more enveloped in the fantasy world.
Hans was never one to call another by a "pet name" he found them to be both unnecessary means of affection and terribly cliche. But recently one had slipped past his lips and was becoming a part of his regular conversation with the queen; "min frosne blomst" Part of the fun had been the look of confusion on her face when he first spoke it due to the language barrier but he knew she would be smart enough to catch on in no time.
Give my muse a petname and see how they react.
At first Elsa had thought the words from his lips had just been a slip of the tongue. Something that had been supposed to come out in their shared dialect, but the second time she'd heard it it had not been a topic that had been anything like the first. And so she waited until she heard it again, the sound sweet on his lips and the look on his face telling her he knew something she didn't.
And so she had figured it out. It had taken a bit of reading and figuring out, but she had done so. And she was glad, at the very least, when the translation lay before her on a slip of parchment, that she wasn't around him. She'd blushed terribly, holding her cold hands over her radiating cheeks to hide the embarrassment and joy that had come from the pet name.
The next time he spoke it, she'd steeled herself for it. She let a small smirk quirk up on her own lips, and replied, "Thank you, min søte røde prins."
