An Important question
Kallei knocked on the door to the familiar hive. He hadn't seen his uncle around in awhile. Come to think of it, not regularly since the issue on Hypnos' planet.
The door opened, revealing- Auri witha tiny Vie tying bows into his poof.
"Oh. Hi, Kallei. What'th up?" He casually lifted Vie in his psi, holding the toddler at a distance from his hair.
"If y9u have the time, I'd like t9 talk t9 y9u a69ut s9mething?" Kallei looked up at him.
"Thure." Auriga stepped aside to let Kallei inside, "Been a while, hathn't it? I've been a bit thaken up. Altho, Vie dethided I need hith conthtant attention and that flying ith fun. I'm trying to teach him to thtay where I can find him."
"Pr96a6ly a g99d idea. Are y9u alright, uncle?"
He followed the tall yellowblood inside.
"Ah... yeah. Realithed thome thingth. Been thpending a lot of time thinking. I thould probably vithit Kinnar and Raine again two."
"They've 6een w9rrying a69ut y9u. The eggs are s9 cl9se t9 hatching, n9 9ne wants y9u t9 miss that, either."
"Ah, then I really should. Jutht. Got in one of my moodth." He reached out and ruffled Kallei's hair, "Ehehehehe, you, lucky little thing, have not eckthperienthed my moodth."
Kallei just hugged him, "Y9u kn9w I l9ve y9u n9 matter what, uncle. If there's anything y9u need when y9u're having a t9ugh time, just let me kn9w." He smiled up at him, "9n a cheerful n9te, th9ugh, 9r I h9pe, a cheerful n9te, I need t9 ask y9u s9mething. 9r tell y9u s9mething.. 9r s9mething." His cheeks colored.
"Oh?" Auri leaned into the hug and laughed, poking Kallei's cheek, "What did you have to tell me?"
He blushed. "Well. It's a69ut Jaisin." And it's imp9rtant."
"About Jaithin?" Auriga blinked.
"Yes." He nodded, looking up at him. Slowly, he stepped back, slipping his hands into his pockets. "H9w d9 y9u feel a69ut 9ur relati9nship? His and mine, i mean."
“Very thweet. Remindth me of when I wath young." Auri smiled, "You two are thoul mateth for thure."
Kallei's face lit up, "I want t9 ask him t9 marry me. He wants t9 ad9pt the children. And I want t9 take his name... I w9uld like t9 kn9w if I have y9ur appr9val 9n this?"
Auri blinked, "Kallei, that ith the betht newth I have had rethently. Approval ith given on the condithion of a hug."
Kallei squeaked happily and threw his arms around him, "D9 y9u want t9 see the ring?"
"Thure." Auriga laughed and hugged Kallei tightly for a brief moment.
Kallei nuzzled his chest, hugging him back just as tightly, "This time every9ne can 6e there."
"Yeth they can.”
He hugged him for quite a few more moments before stepping back and drawing out a box. "This is it. The ring I picked. I had s9me help, 6ut all the 9pti9ns had meaning f9r us."
"That ith one pretty ring, damn.
"Cust9m. It was perfect f9r him, and it has meaning f9r us."
"You are a lucky troll, And tho is he."
9h, he's amazing. Really.. really amazing." He sighed dreamily. "N9 matter what happens, we just end up cl9ser. I am h9n9red 6y the trust he gives me."
Auri just smiled.
"Thank y9u." Kallei smiled up at him. "N9w I just have t9 ask him. I have a plan."
"II with you luck, Kallei."
Kallei bounced on his feet, "I'm really excited. And kind 9f nerv9us. I kn9w we've talked a69ut the p9ssi6ility, 6ut I really h9pe he says yes in actuality."
