Jubilee and Robin kissed?

Okay so let me tell you something about the magical time that was comic books in the 90′s. There was once a time when Marvel and DC would do crossovers and it was glorious. You’d have things like Cap throwing down with Batman to save their own universes and Wolverine and Gambit stealing the Batmobile, but the most magical thing of all is the time Robin magically appeared on Jubilee’s bed and she was insta-smitten.

Marvel and DC had done a number of crossovers but Amalgam/Access was by far my fave. Because you had the heroes fighting to save their own worlds from destruction and in the middle of it, is this cute love story between Jubilee and Robin who were supposed to fight each other, but totally decide to do date type stuff first and apologize before they have to finally fight for the fate of their world. Later, after all that was resolved, Jubilee ran into Access, the one dude who could freely go between worlds, while he was on a date. She essentially threatened to ruin his date if he didn’t take her to go see Tim Drake in Gotham. He relented and caved to the demands of this hormonal teenager in love and Jubilee and Robin met up again and Jubilee told Batman to mind his own business and Batman fucking listened because she’s the goddamn Jubilee. Anyway Tim had hooked up with someone in the meanwhile so it wasn’t meant to be (that and the whole two different companies bs) and so they had a farewell kiss while a playbill for Romeo and Juliet blew by in the wind and it was so cute.

I mean amalgam/access had a lot of other stuff going on too, but Jubilee/Tim is just really freaking cute and I can’t with them.
