After a long week, it's nice to sit down with one of our most playful cups from The Democratic Cup featuring Scott Lenhardt's Twenty Four Hour Woman within the iconic painting by Emanuel Leutze of George Washington crossing the Delaware River in 1776 on Nick Moen's 3D printed stein. In the words of Scott, "The New York Evening Mirror called it 'the grandest, most majestic, and most effective painting ever exhibited in America.' Washington believed in his country and its people enough to take a boat through the bitter cold, ice filled waters of the Delaware River into battle (on Christmas night!) and this painting gave the American public a powerful image to hold in their minds as a reminder not to back down on what you believe. I hope to inspire a little bit of that bravery in people.
