The changing of the seasons always has an influence on my palette. Winter and summer are my favorites. The differences between the two play on my own personal tastes. From bright and loud to somber and muted. Each color palette deeply resonates the moods I’m in during that time of the year. Last night I decided to start two paintings using the leftover colors from my ornaments. These two works are the second and third works that I’ve completed in the home studio and I absolutely adore them. There’s a cold sweetness to my winter palette that makes me want to cuddle up in front of the fireplace with my many fur babies. The first painting is part of the #molecularseries, “A dream of what could be,” and the second work is part of the #theregionalseries, “I miss that feeling.” 🎨 . • The Molecular Series is a visual meditation of what occurs inside of our bodies without a second thought. I'm inspired by how the micro life forces inside us have their own reality and move on their own accord. This series focuses solely on my molecular biology and how I react to my experiences, surroundings, life, emotions. . • #artbyangietherose #angietherose #205collaborative #southernartist #womanartist #abstractexpressionism #vsco #madeinnc #greensborooartist #ncartist #scienceinthearts #southernart #abstractexpressionism #artistsof205collaborative #studioporn #sogso #myboldhues (at Greensboro, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqnQ1FcjN6X/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1b35gv904xsos
