Nullius In Verba Oil, 24 x 18 inches
Latin for “Take nobody's word for it", Nullius in Verba is the motto of the world’s oldest national scientific institution, the UK’s Royal Society, founded in 1660. The motto was adopted to signify the fellows' determination to establish facts by experiment. They recognized that we cannot accept assumptions or stories from authority, no matter how charismatic. If we want to understand nature, we must observe nature. It has taken centuries to get as far as we have, but this simple idea has allowed humanity to rein in superstition, famine, and disease. It has taken us from horseback to the moon and back. We still face formidable challenges, to be sure, and those challenges make it easy to take for granted just how far we’ve come. We now communicate at the speed of light, traverse the earth through the sky like birds, and produce more food than we need - even if economic forces keep that food from reaching everyone equitably.
Scientists do get things wrong from time to time and solutions sometimes have unintended consequences, but collective scientific scrutiny of claims leads to a steady correction of errors in our understanding. Science is not perfect, but it is the best method of knowledge discovery we have, and that’s worth celebrating.

Mathematically, geographically, biologically, physically, chemically, literally we'll always be together.
We are like those parallel lines, that walk together till infinity but never meet but not even repelling, you see one day at some point at infinity they win over magnetic fields, they make their own geographical axis and walk together, hands in hand somewhere in parallel world.
We are like the auricles and ventricles of heart separated by the bicuspids and tricuspids, together but not, you see that one day, when the pumping machine will stop uniting us, death that's a nightmare will prove to be a reunion.
We are like the borders of the nations, lying on the same plane but separated by hatred, you see they say, war leads to destruction, destruction of distance, either I'll be all yours or you'll be all mine.
We are like the language separated by the vowels, pronunciations and words but you see in the end love, ishq, pyaar, amor, sarang means the same. and i guess that's how it wins.
so what if you stepped out of the circumference called love, i'll increase my radius for you.
so what if you bisected my chest open, you'll always find peices of you in there.
so what if we couldn't make a covalent bond, I'll be your electronegativity, our bond can be ionic.
so what if you don't have a empty orbital, I'll jump all over the ground state to the excited state to complete you.
I'll be your valence electron.
I'll be your vocabulary
I'll be your mitochondria.
I'll be your constant.
and if, your love is like a conjecture, i'll go far and beyond to prove it true.

See you there!
The mutualistic relationship between Hardwicke’s woolly bats and Nepenthes hemsleyana is quite amazing! I had the privilege of working with Dr. Michael Schoner from the University of Greifswald to create this informational poster to accompany his researcher.
