Name: Adam Hector Gentry-Evans

Gender: Male

Appearance: Gray skin like his father, taupe brown hair like his mother. Tiny brows, scrawny build, and orange eyes like his mother’s soul (covers the whites of his eyes). 

Personality: Quiet and easy-going. He speaks few words, but it’s not uncommon to hear him crack a joke to lighten the mood. Very self-confident, to the point where he doesn’t have to prove to others that he is. He loves adventure, learning new things. He’s into paranormal research, specifically multiple realities that can prove or disprove the existence of a god. He hates open ended questions, which he will have to grow out of the more he pursues his career.

Special skills: He can make himself intangible at will. Sometimes it goes awry.

Our fellow blinks in surprise.

“Oh. Um. Hullo.” He hadn’t been expecting this, “Erm, I’m just looking around, to be honest. I’ve been abroad for a while and I wanted to check the neighbourhood.”

He glances up and down, taking in the sight opposite.

“…You’re a Narrator, I expect?”

"Oh, I see...well, welcome back!" Jonathan goes to wave the pan of muffins away, reconsiders and offers him some. The smell of cocoa and vanilla wafts up from them, no doubt he had some time perfecting them. Even though Jonathan himself never eats any. Blame his alien tastebuds, but he still prefers his desserts bitter and lacking sugar.

"Yes, actually!" He glances down at his apron. "Well, was. I don't do any narrating anymore, unless it's reading a book for Stanley and his friends. But if you ask me, being a Narrator is quite overrated. The Office can be so much more than a prison if you put some skill into it!"

He gestures the other to follow him into the Lounge, where the tea pot and the coffee machine were already making themselves busy.

"What about you? Do you still have a Stanley? Oh- my apologies. My name's Jonathan Von Sales.

"Cooee, anybody home?" a certain Reluctant Narrator has come a-visiting. Why, though, is anyone's guess.

Now what was this? A new visitor?

“Oh- yes, hold on a moment, please-!” Someone shouts from another room. A few hasty shuffles and ill timed bangs later, the Narrator appears. 

Much has changed over the years. His neatly ironed suit was replaced by a pink apron and soft bedroom slippers. He also happened to carry a full tray of freshly baked muffins. 

Jonathan’s face lit up in pleasant surprise. He always welcomed new guests. They were easy to spoil with sweets and tea. 

“Hello! How may I help you, dear?”

“Oh, I suppose this is at short notice, I’m sorry,” he apologizes, “I just wanted to check in on you.”

He chuckles, “Me? I’ve just been a little lost. Nothing to worry about…”

“Ah, I see! It’s okay! You must be busy, right? I hope you found what you were looking for...?” ...

They all say ‘nothing to worry about’, but there is always something to be concerned of.  Deimos eyes the ghosty fellow, feeling a little uneasy.

“I should say, it’s not very safe to wander around in the distant hallways. Well, at least these last few days. There are newcomers— the entities, they might catch you if you are not careful enough and- w-who knows what could they be capable of!”

"Knock knock..." there is a Reluctant spectre visiting, it seems, "Mr. Deimos? You still around?"

“ᚲᚨᚾᛏ ᛏᚺᛖᛋᛖ ᛋᛁᛚᛚᚤ ᛋᛈᚱᛟᚢᛏᛋ ᚷᛁᚡᛖ ᚨ ᛚᛁᛏᛏᛚᛖ ᛗᛟᛗᛖᚾᛏ ᛟᚠ ᛈᛖᚨᚲᛖ— what!”

Deimos pushes the door open, to stare at the ghosty fellow with big glowing eyes filled with genuine surprise.

“... Ah stars, hello!” he manages to utter as he gains his composure back and gives the other a friendly hug. “I- I didn’t really expect to see you at my domains this year. How have you been, dear?”
