I highly recommend. It has its hard hitting moments but so does every book worth reading, in my opinion. Josephine was my favorite character and I loved the way she connected to Ava in the present. The lush descriptions of everything was also beautiful. There is so much more to this book and I just finished so haven’t tethered all of my thoughts but it’s beautiful and impactful and all women should read it. This is book 3/24 (or more!) for 2021.
