This is an absolutely delightful Post Canon Case Fic with an original plot.

LWJ gets a bunch of love confessions and WWX is having a blast until LWJ gets one that hits a little too close to home. Then WWX gets jealous. Wangxian are pining while solving a case, WWX has an epiphany but LWJ fears to hope. LWJ is WWX’s home and WWX won’t let go of him again so in the end they both get what they yearn for ❤️.

He opens the fridge, the cool air a gasp against his sleep-flushed skin. Two containers: one of soup, one of noodles, stacked neatly on top of each other. A sticky note on the lid: a rabbit, wrapped in a blanket.

There’s a strange feeling in Lan Zhan’s stomach. He doesn’t think it’s the fever.
