"I don't see why not," Paul retorted before standing to his feet and adjusting his blazer to a more snug position. He didn't really care to, being as lazy as he was, but drinking was a pleasure he reasonably enjoyed. Brushing past his bandmate, the brunet gripped whichever coat he felt looked best and brought it over his shoulders comfortably. Really, he wasn't certain which one was his, but any sort of cold protection was something he would easily get in on.

The question came as a shock. "Pardon?" the Beatle puzzled. What kind of question was this, really? Maybe John was in one of his 'moods'. "Well, we've been friends for god knows how long, 'n you're my best friend, so-- no. Not in the slightest. You're unbearable, actually," McCartney teased with a snide tone, smug grin tugging at his lips. "Now scram, Lennon! I don't got time for your games."

John waved at Paul "hey mate!" He smiled "how are you doing?"

Turning to acknowledge the somewhat nasal voice emitting from behind him, Paul flashed a small, cheeky grin at his bandmate. "Ah, John! Just checkin' the news, y' see?" the brunet prompted before raising the thin leaved news articles resting between his calloused fingers. They were sporting articles and headers already, and it very quietly expanded Paul's ego. "We've made a column on the front page."
