do you ever draw your characters in pretty clothes 😭
Because I just drew Amphinomus in a time-inaccurate dress because I wanted him to look like a pretty princess 😔
At the moment I don’t think so, maybe I exaggerated at times when I drew my suitors in “elegant” attire
But I always tried to keep it in the time period
Even if at time my “fashion” sense adds stuff
Examples :
What are your suitors’ fears? basically the same thing you did with your new gals but your suitor version.
I just need more things to mentally munch on as I think 😔
Pisander/Peisander of Same – The Peacock
Fear: Losing admiration and being forgotten.
Explanation: Pisander thrives on appearance, power, and recognition. His greatest nightmare is obscurity — being seen as ordinary. He hides behind perfume, jewels, and elegance, terrified that without them he’s nothing.
⸻
Demoptolemus of Dulichium- The tiger
Fear: Losing control of himself.
Explanation: Raised in a family of warriors and discipline, Demoptolemus’ fear is the beast within — that rage or instinct might one day destroy the order he was taught to preserve. He trains endlessly, because chaos terrifies him.
⸻
Eurydamas of Ctimene (Thessaly) – The Antelope
Fear: Felines and exposure.
Explanation: He hides his vitiligo beneath fine robes, a symbol of how he conceals all his vulnerabilities. As a child, a tiger mauled him and took his eye; since then, he fears large cats — and more metaphorically, those who hunt weakness.
I’m not good with gore.. so just a small sketch
(He’s missing the whole eye-)
⸻
Helenus of Ithaca - The Hare
Fear: Being ignored or replaced.
Explanation: Loud, rude, always talking — because silence terrifies him. Helenus fears that if he isn’t the center of attention, he’ll vanish. His ego covers deep insecurity, the belief that people only value him when he’s loudest.
⸻
Clytius of Zacynthus – The Scorpion
Fear: Becoming his father.
Explanation: His mother despises him for resembling the man who betrayed her, and deep down, Clytius fears she’s right — that deceit and cruelty are in his blood. His manipulative streak both excites and disgusts him.
⸻
Thersilochus of Dulichium – The Rooster
Fear: Being humiliated.
Explanation: A loud and confident “himbo,” Thersilochus’ bravado is built on fragile pride. He laughs the hardest and shouts the most, but mock him — and he breaks. His fear isn’t death; it’s being laughed at.
⸻
Hippomachus of Zacynthus – The Hippopotamus
Fear: Losing control over his daughter, Klearete.
Explanation: He’s a domineering man who built his entire identity around power and family. Deep down, he fears that Klearete will surpass him — or worse, betray him. Yet he would be perversely proud if she did.
⸻
Agerochus of Dulichium – The Hawk
Fear: Falling from grace.
Explanation: Born to nobility, Agerochus lives in terror of failure. He can’t bear the idea of losing his family’s name, their estate, or his sister Philomache’s respect. For him, downfall equals death — because his worth is status.
It’s funny as hell to me if I imagine Amphinomus being shorter than every suitor of Dulichium, including Philomache.
Because it would really emphasize the fact that he’s not at all physically intimidating lol.
How tall he is
Dulichium’s height chart is here lmao
Hi! I wanted to ask few questions again! (I also love your designs of the suitors and the maids. There outfits are all AMAZING!!) Mostly oc questions so..
1. How would the maids react to Malachi having a pet rabbit? What would their reaction be if he shows them Phoebe? (Aka the rabbit's name). Phoebe is quite friendly! She would absolutely love your girls company (Like Galene, Thaleia, Elpis and etc.). Though she is sometimes mischievous and likes to go on areas that are dangerous or playing pranks on the suitors.
She's also extremely fluffy like a cotton cloud.
2. What will the maids react to when Malachi helps them at their duty work? Malachi is tall and strong, it's just that his cloak is concealing his muscled figure *coughs*. Probably he would help them carry heavy stuff or assisting them on cooking, then after it's done he'll say that it's nothing (lies, he does not want to admit that he has a soft spot for the girls.). Also he would glare at anyone if they interrupted the girls resting possibly.
Random scenario:
Random Suitor: Hey can you pour me a wine-
Malachi: *shoves the amphora to their hands glaring down at them with a look 'She's resting, do it by your own hands.*
Suitor: *nervous chuckle* Thanks! P-Prince Malachi... *clenched the amphora like he's gonna get executed in public.*
4. Have the girls ever been curious on what's behind Malachi’s mask? Or do they don't ask Malachi about it out of respect?
5. I wanna know what your suitors and the evil maids opinions or thoughts about Malachi? Since Malachi is the older brother of Telemachus. Malachi personality is very much serious and cold, always quiet and never speaks at all. He doesn't yell, he spits out harsh truthful words.. Mostly to the suitors or people he dislikes in general. Try hitting him? He'll dodge or not flinch at all, he doesn't fear the pain. The PAIN fears him lol, and he may or not be a sadomasochist...
What's more 'creepy' about Malachi, is that you don't get to always see him in the hallways but there's a gut feeling that tells you that he's there somewhere.. The only time people see him is when he is escorting Penelope and Telemachus , doing patrols at the palace, prince duties, or just hanging out with the guards. He disappears at dusk, no one knows why but they are too scared to follow him. Malachi is not only know for less expressive attitude but he acts like he is not a human..
Another fact is that Odysseus and Penelope kept a secret that Malachi was adopted, so no one know about this except Odysseus and Penelope of course. Odysseus only knows that Malachi is the secret descendant of Arachne.
Anyways that's all! Have a good day/night!
Hiiii, thank you as usual for your ask, even if in general, thanks to any who asks me stuff about my characters, it helps me develop them even more^^
Now, lets start answering, (i know i have other people asks in te inbox, but slowly I’ll get through all ok ♥️ )
1. The maids would love phoebe, plus i remeber that you showed me her art, UGH SHE’S SO CUTEEEE.
I think only Klearete would look a phoebe with a different eye… thinking…
‘She would look good cooked in the oven, with oil and herbs’
2. I adore Malachi so much, the scenario made me chuckle so loud.
But in any case the girls would always appreciate or try to stop Malachi for doing their job cause they would feel bad about it.
Bu if talking about the evil trio, Klearete would just say thank you, while Chloris and Philomache believes its a man job, so, they would just try to flirt to get Malachi to do more (failing miserably).
3. (Signed as 4) yes, all the girls are curious about it but simply believe they would prefer if Malachi spoke or showed them, willingly.
He evil trio doesn’t care much.
4. (Signed as 5) since you fed me with an amazing description i can work better with an answer, thank you so much ♥️ so here it is:
⸻
Pisander of Same
“That boy gives me chills. No smile, no words, no proper manners — and yet Penelope trusts him like blood. I can’t stand how he looks at me, like he’s measuring my worth and finding it… nothing.”
View: Finds Malachi unnerving, inferior in “status,” yet secretly threatened by his quiet power. Pisander hates that Malachi’s silence draws more respect than his own eloquence.
⸻
Demoptolemus of Dulichium
“He’s strange… but disciplined. Doesn’t waste words, doesn’t waste motion. I can respect that.”
View: Deep respect — sees a kindred spirit in Malachi’s restraint and control. While others find him “creepy,” Demoptolemus recognizes the warrior in him.
⸻
Meneptolemus of Dulichium
“He moves like a ghost with a purpose. I can’t tell if he’s human or omen — but he listens more than he speaks. That makes him dangerous.”
View: Intrigued and wary — sees Malachi as a perfect weapon or rival. Would study him carefully, trying to learn his habits and limits.
⸻
Helenus of Ithaca
“The freak doesn’t even blink! Always skulking around — I swear he’s cursed. Probably spies for the queen.”
View: Mocking and fearful — he taunts Malachi behind his back, but the moment he meets his gaze, Helenus shuts up.
⸻
Eurydamas of Ctimene
“There’s something broken in him, and something divine. I can’t tell if he suffers, or if he feels nothing at all.”
View: Haunted fascination — sees as interesting Malachi’s coldness, sensing an untold story behind his eyes.
⸻
Clytius of Zacynthus
“A ghost playing guard. I don’t like men I can’t read — and he’s a closed book bound in shadows.”
View: Deep suspicion — sees Malachi as a threat to his influence. Would test him with subtle barbs, only to find that nothing provokes him.
⸻
Thersilochus of Dulichium
“Eh, that quiet brat? He gives me the creeps! You talk to him, he just… stares. Not right, I tell you.”
View: Uneasy mockery — laughs loudly to cover fear. Calls him “the ghost guard,” but avoids being alone with him.
⸻
Hippomachus of Zachynthus
“There’s discipline in him, I’ll grant that. But discipline without voice? That’s not a man — that’s a tool.”
View: Sees Malachi as a curiosity — useful, but unnatural. Would try to provoke him to test his limits, yet grows uneasy when Malachi doesn’t react.
⸻
Agerochus of Dulichium
“A warrior does not fear silence. But that boy’s silence… it listens back.”
View: Warily respectful — recognizes a predatory focus similar to his own. Would never mock Malachi, but never turn his back on him either.
⸻
Klearete
Opinion on Malachi:
Klearete would be both intrigued and unsettled. His silence and unflinching composure would make him feel untouchable — the kind of man she can’t manipulate easily, which infuriates her but also fascinates her. She’d likely test him with small provocations, subtle flirtation, or social traps just to see if he’d react. When he doesn’t, she starts to suspect there’s something unnatural about him.
Her private thoughts:
“He doesn’t flinch, doesn’t blink, doesn’t care… How is one supposed to play a game when the opponent refuses to move?”
Klearete would eventually grow curious — not out of affection, but because she wants to understand what makes him tick.
⸻
Philomache
Opinion on Malachi:
Philomache would find him creepy at first — too cold, too quiet, not the type who would admire her beauty or give her the attention she craves. She might mock him lightly among the other maids (“He’d make a fine statue — he already rarely talk back”).
But over time, his aura of mystery would start to haunt her thoughts. She’d never admit it, but she’d become obsessed with being noticed by him, frustrated that her charm has no effect.
Her private thoughts:
“Why won’t he look at me? Everyone looks at me… what is he hiding behind those eyes?”
In short: she pretends to disdain him, but secretly, he gets under her skin — the only man she can’t enchant, which makes him irresistible.
⸻
Chloris
Opinion on Malachi:
Chloris would be terrified and curious in equal measure. She’d whisper rumors like a child scared of a bedtime ghost — “They say he disappears at dusk!” “Do you think he sleeps upside down like a bat?”
Yet she’d also find him strangely romantic in a naive way. His silence and distance would make her imagine tragic backstories — maybe he’s cursed, or in love with someone who died. She’d daydream about “saving” him with kindness.
Her private thoughts:
“He’s scary… but maybe he’s just lonely. Maybe he just needs someone to talk to… maybe me.”
She’d probably try to greet him once — a shy “Good evening, sir!” — only to panic when he doesn’t respond and hide behind another maid.
