Akahi does not look up from the newpaper right away- no, he simply turns to the next page, taking another sip from the coffee cup in his hand. He glances up briefly at Niwa and gives the other the most terrifyingly pleasant smile he could and motions to the chair across from him.

“Now, now, let’s not do anything rash Niwa. Why don’t you have a seat? I made coffee.”

Akahi’s smile turns something sinister as he looks up his cousin.

“Besides, you’re going to want to hear what I have to say, now be good and sit.”

The calm that falls over the beast in the wake of their battle is shattered the instant Niwa decides to release her from her ball. Her eyes-- all of them-- fly open to look at him, and there is a terrible hiss when he’s recognized. Expressions cycle across the human face inside the creature’s bell-- confusion, then fear, then rage-- and suddenly she shifts backward, tentacles thrashing and snapping violently through the air.

“K r r r … H h h – H h h s s sSSS – !!”

She is not at all pleased with this development-- and she intends to let him know without deigning to use human language.

      Okay, hot guy bumped into him. He seems nervous--which is pretty cute. Xurkitree cocks an eyebrow, but grins at the man all the same.
