At mercy of the sea that was her home, the storm blew her onto a strange beach, dozens of bruises on her fair skin, and bleeding from numerous wounds she lay unconscious beneath clumps of seaweed an branches, face down an breathing labored.

Sundays are the best days. On sundays, Steve doesn’t have to work, so in the morning when he wakes up (of his own accord, without a single alarm clock in sight) he can stay in bed with his little omega counterpart. And honestly, is there any better start to a day?
Steve shifts slightly in his sleep, arms wrapping tighter around the other. He wakes up with sunlight on his face, streaming through the blinds, and eventually his eyes flutter open, settling on the smaller body beside him. he can’t tell whether or not he’s awake, so he leans down, pressing a kiss to his forehead. that’ll do for now.
