Six sentence Sunday

Guess what?  I’m finally finishing the epilogue to For the rest of our lives.  Yes, I posted the last chapter back in July.  But I have a good feeling this epilogue is going to be done pretty soon. 

I have picked about 5 different snippets and keep changing my mind, but this one will do, even though they are very short sentences.

“God, Elio.  You make me crazy, you know that?  You always did.  The things you say.”

He puts his mouth so close to Oliver’s that he can taste the champagne on his words.  “So shut me up.”

It’s the end and I’m a bit lost about what to say.  This has been going on for nearly 3 years and it’s fair to say I’m a bit emotional.

I planned on tidying up These Parallel Lives before posting the final sequel chapter BUT my kindle has messed up all the notes about the typos etc, so now they don't make sense and I can't do it.

But I guess that's one less reason to put off finishing it?

I've finally pulled up the epilogue to These Parallel Lives and done a teeny tiny bit of work on it. I really hope I can get motivated to finish it soon...

Rereading my writing a long time later like

a) Oh god no, what is this TERRIBLE drivel, It's so embarrassing, I just want to crawl under a rock and DIE OF SHAME, why did I write this godawful pile of shit, it is the worst piece of trash in the whole universe, what was I thinking, I am MORTIFIED by my own stupidity and am going to throw myself into the sun to rid the universe of my GARBAGE BRAIN and the ridiculous crap that spews out of it, I must hide from everyone who might ever have seen it because they will probably MOCK ME and also THROW ROTTEN VEGETABLES AT ME and I would 100% deserve that

Interspersed with flashes of

b) Holy crap I am a motherfucking GENIUS, this is the best thing I have ever read, I am like SHAKESPEARE only 100x better, how did I ever write something so beautiful and wonderful, I am filled with pride and happiness

Then return swiftly back to a) and repeat ad infinitum
