I love you with a love I seem to lose.

I can't tell you how much I love you. So I'll just send them in bottles and let the ocean carry it away for me instead.

i. I watched him curled up on the ground, shivering and ranting about things I couldn't make out. But I know. I know that he was regretting things he had done in the past and in the tragic present. "Why do I have to marry that old hag?," he said furiously. "She tricked me. She told me that she would reach out to help. But I didn't know that she would ask something in return.", he added while turning his back away from the moonlight. Then I saw it. Tears. Tears were rolling down like waterfalls of guilt and humiliation. I couldn't help but stare at him. His blonde vibrant hair glowed even brighter against the luminescent moonlight. His aquamarine eyes were filled up with transparent tears which seemed to flow forever. I took a step forward, reaching out a hand for him to hold. ii. I lie here on the ground, words willing itself out of my mouth. I spoke a lot--a lot of things I can't seem to grasp. I stutter, and my thoughts begin to swivel and form into one. And finally I remember. I understand. I ran away from that hag I married, and I asked myself why I had to marry her. I thought I loved her. I thought she loved me. But I was wrong. She promised me she'd lend a hand. But she didn't. And what's worse was that I actually trusted her. Trickery. I sigh and turn away from the silver coin casting its luminous shadows above. I didn't notice it until I felt the liquid surface my skin. I was crying. My tears were chasing themselves down, down on my cheeks. I am humiliated. I feel sorry for myself. The snow crashed against me, that's why I fell facedown on the ground. My blond hair is now pasted at my neck from the beads of sweat forming near the medulla oblongata. The cold seeps through my skin, and I wrap myself with my arms. The lady near my freezing feet kept staring at me, making me uncomfortable. My tears seem to flow like a river that never stops. I wonder if I'll stay like this forever. Keep on crying until I have nothing left to cry. The lady took a step forward, and offered me her hand. In other circumstances I would've found this funny, but this is serious business. So I took it.
