These Things Hidden is the 2nd book by @heathergudenkauf that I’ve read. This one was extraordinary, emotional, and suspenseful with twists I never saw coming. The book involves a few women in a small Iowa town. A 21-year old girl released from prison, her younger sister who is struggling mentally and emotionally, a young nursing student caring for her dying stepdad and an adoptive mom - each with their own stories and secrets that interweave and collide. I really enjoyed this book.
