thesis shit as always ....

i'm really mad about this third round of thesis proposals (which isn't new) bc i just finished reading jim's play and i feel like i know exactly what he would say about it like stuff about epic theater and brechtian techniques and The Real™ and so my proposal for this play is actually really good

and it sucks bc i've never had ben as a professor so idk what sort of things he would think re: the bacchae even though i know that play waaaaay better than the arthur miller play but my understanding of what ben would want as a director is literally zero. and i might be able to whip up something better if i had more time but these proposals are due the 17th and i'm only at home until friday and then i'm gonna be gone on holiday again SO THERE'S NO TIMEEEEEE

basically the likelihood that i'm going to end up working with jim is super super high. and i'm just really fuckin upset about it.
