14. Picnic with the least appropriate picnic foods

"We’re going on a picnic. Come on, I’ll show you what I mean!"

Showing up randomly at Tigerdove Mansion and tugging Shouyou away by his arm probably wasn’t one of his brightest ideas, but Silver had that inkling of anticipation stored up inside him—and he wouldn’t let any voice of dispute stop him.

When Silver had finished dragging Shouyou behind him like a puppet, he let the other examine his display of food littered all over the cliche blanket. Except…

"Why is it all fast food, Silver-kun?"

"I didn’t have enough time to prepare anything myself…and I wanted to have a picnic with you—Ugh, just eat it!”

Tigerdove mansion's fridge was bombarded with sticky notes and tacky volleyball magnets already; there was barely any space left to squeeze in another without it going unnoticed in the midst of 'Kiyoko-san, you're looking beautiful today!' or 'Practice at 8am, don't miss it'. 

And so Oikawa settles for the next best thing, sticking the green post it note on Hinata's forehead while he's sleeping. 

The kid doesn't even budge, he notices, amused, before leaving for the day. 

'Shorty-chan~ My sister says she wants her wedding dress back. I hope you don't mind, I took a snapshot of you on our date yesterday and sent it to her, ehe~☆'

Oikawa feels his way carefully down the hallways of Tigerdove mansion; it's too dark to see anything at the moment--there'd been a blackout some time three in the morning, right as he was getting a midnight snack. Wonderful. 

He makes a guess at which his room is, taking a gamble as he opens the door nearest his left. He isn't sure, exactly, but he's too exhausted to bother, crawling into the bed and under the covers. He does notice another person occupying it, but can't bring himself to do much but snuggle into the sheets, one arm flinging itself over the smaller figure in bed with him. 

There would be consequences when he woke up, Oikawa's sure, but he'll deal with them in the morning.

Hyacinth!

Hyacinth: Your muse and mine are in an embarrassing, fateful incident. Do they both make it out alive? What happens?

Fateful is one word that could be used to describe it.  It wasn’t every day that Haruka met someone who could eat their weight so fast in so little time.  Haruka himself was also capable of eating tables worth of food in minutes, so, y’know what?  These two forces combined were nothing to shake a stick at.

An encounter in an all-you-can-eat buffet; was it destiny?  You tell me.  Either way, the sheer mass of dishes to clean afterwards was enough to make any dish-washing employee run away from sheer intimidation.  (It’s okay, Haruka paid the tips.)  The world was once again reminded that day of the sheer power of hungry teenagers.
